At a glance: Quarter 3 – July, August, September 2017 Streaming • The number of streams by NZ artists streamed in NZ was up 13.3% from last quarter to 67,427,139 streams this quarter. • Overall streaming units were up 10.7% during this period to 1,189,871,268 total streams. Single Sale Units • The number of single sale units by NZ artists purchased digitally in NZ was down 9.9% from last quarter to 33,054 units this quarter. • Overall Single Sales units were down 11.7% during this period to 469,251 total units. Album Sales Units • The number of album sales units by NZ artists purchased digitally or physically in NZ was down 24.5% from last quarter to 30,073 units this quarter. • Overall Album Sales units were down 18.3 % during this period to 224,224 total units. Radio • Individual spins of songs by NZ artists across all radio in NZ was down 1.6% from last quarter to 315,075 spins this quarter.
