This letter and its annexes constitute the consultation and publicity statement, as required by Regulation 7A of the 2011 Regulations. This statement demonstrates compliance with Regulations 6 and 7, as amended by the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders)(Amendment) Regulations 2015. I note that on 22 July The Infrastructure Planning (Publication and Notification of Applications etc.) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 came into force, Regulation 3 inserting new provisions (Regulation 6A, 20A and 56A) into the 2011 Regulations and taking immediate effect. I can confirm that the amended provisions were taken into account, whereby EDF published the full suite of application documents on its website and sign-posted consultees to the Inspectorate’s website. It is noted that the new Regulation 6A(2)(a) removes the requirement to place hard copy documents at a deposit point, how- ever EDF chose to place the application documents at its own facility close to the application site, in order to ensure the greatest possible access for interested parties.
