The unique mudbrick gallery displays an amazing range of giftware, furniture, artwork, homewares, clothing, handbags, jewellery and much, much more....Shop till you drop! After lunch we enjoy tastings at the Telegherry Winery. Telegherry which incorporates Mingara Heavy Horse Stud & Telegherry Estate Vineyards originally comprised of various lots of Australian Agricultural Company’s Circa.1850 Woolshed subdivision. This afternoon we make our way into Gloucester where we stop at the main park for a cuppa from the coach before being joined by our local guide for a highlights tour of Gloucester. Later we make our way to our motel where we check in before dinner in the restaurant. Overnight Gloucester – Buckett’s Way Motel 02 6558 2588 Day 2 – Fri 31 Dec: Gloucester Breakfast, Lunch, A/Tea & Dinner This morning after breakfast we make our way across to the Gloucester Historic Museum offering a wide range of exhibits relative to the area. After a cuppa in the District Park and Human Sundial we enjoy a tour of the township and district with local guide taking in the scenic lookouts of Kia-ora and Mograni. After our tour we arrive at the Earlyn Country Tea-Garden which has been developed on a rural property as a specialty tea- garden. The gardens and associated infrastructure have been established as an original and interesting display set in an idyllic location that offers visitors the opportunity to relax and take time to enjoy the surroundings. After a light lunch at the gardens we make our way to the Hillview Herb Farm offering a huge range of culinary & medicinal herbs, herbal oils, honey's vinegar’s and other delicacies which are made exclusively from their herbs. We enjoy a garden tour of the farm which offers great views, big veranda and garden rotunda before afternoon tea. Later we make our way back to our accommodation to rest before dinner in the restaurant. Overnight Gloucester – Buckett’s Way Motel 02 6558 2588 Day 3 – Sat 1 Jan: Gloucester Breakfast, Lunch, A/Tea & Dinner After breakfast this morning our first stop is atBarrington Orchids where a wide variety of orchids are for sale, from seedlings to flowering plants including Natives, Cattleya, Biggibum and more. We then make our way to Trudgalong Farm which is a 130 acre working farm. To make a living from such a small acreage Trudgalong has diversified from the more traditional forms of agriculture and apart from raising Hereford cattle has introduced, aquaculture, boer goat stud, miniture ponies and poultry. After we have a full tour of the farm we can sit back and enjoy lunch. After lunch we make our way to Camp Cobark which is in the heart of cattle country. It is the second oldest cattle property in the upper catchment of the Barrington River. Our host Alan will provide us with a demonstration before we enjoy afternoon tea. We then make our way back to our accommodation to rest up before dinner in the restaurant. Overnight Gloucester – Buckett’s Way Motel 02 6558 2588 Day 4 – Sun 2 Jan: Forster Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner This morning after breakfast we make our way across to Forster where we are met by a local tour guide for a highlights tour of Forster/Tuncurry. Covering the narrow isthmus just south of Forster, Booti Booti National Park incorporates a marvellous stretch of coastline between Cape Hawke and Seagull Point. After a cuppa from the coach we make our way to board our Free Spirit Cruise. The Free Spirit Cruise is a true eco cruise experience on the crystal clear, aquamarine waters of Wallis Lake. Our 2.5 hour lunch cruise will feature some of the 189 species of birds which have been sighted around Wallis Lake. Dolphins are also sighted more often than not. Later we make our way to the Great Lakes Museum in Tuncurry which houses a collection of artefacts relating to timber-getting, shipbuilding, ship models, farming, oyster growing and pioneer families. After our tour we make our way back to Gloucester where we enjoy free time before dinner in the restaurant.
