THE MULTICULTURE&nbsp;REQUIREMENT IS NOT SATISFIED BY COMPLETION OF THE AA DEGREE UNLESS ACCEPTABLE COURSES ARE TAKEN AS PART OF THE AA DEGREE. </strong></p><p>Students graduating from high school in 1997 or after must have completed two years of high school-level second language or two terms of a college-level second language, or demonstrated proficiency to be admitted to U of O. <br>(over) <br>NOTE: <br>1. Students&nbsp;who have completed 36 quarter hours of transferable work with a 2.25 GPA may be considered for admission based solely on college work. </p><p>2. Only&nbsp;courses with letter prefixes and numbers above 100 are accepted at U of O (see exceptions below). 3. A&nbsp;maximum of 12 credit hours of career /vocational technical courses are accepted as electives. 4. The&nbsp;following courses will not be granted credit at U of O:&nbsp;RD115. 5. A&nbsp;maximum of 124 credit hours earned at a community college may be applied toward a baccalaureate degree. 6. BA&nbsp;degree requires equivalent of two years of college foreign language.&nbsp;Students, who have not earned an Associate of Arts- <br>Oregon Transfer (<strong>AAOT</strong>) degree, cannot use the same foreign language courses to meet both the Arts &amp; Letters and BA requirement. </p><p>7. BS&nbsp;degree requires MTH 111, 211, 212, 213 or one of the following options:&nbsp;MTH105, 111, 243; or MTH111 and two of <br>MTH112, 241, or 243; or one course from:&nbsp;MTH251, 252, 253, 254, 255, or 256.&nbsp;All courses must be completed with a grade of C- or higher.&nbsp;Students, who have not earned an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (<strong>AAOT</strong>), cannot use the same courses to meet the B.S. degree Math/Computer course proficiency requirement and the Science requirement. </p><p>8. Courses&nbsp;in which "D" grades have been earned will transfer to U of O, but will not satisfy degree requirements in writing, mathematics, or foreign language and may not be acceptable for major requirements. </p><p>9. Students&nbsp;must complete WR121 and MTH105 or 111 before transferring with a C- or better; may request waiver of math requirement for admissions. </p><p>10. No&nbsp;more than three courses from any one subject may be counted toward the total 36 credit requirement. <br>Application for financial aid should be mailed between January 1 and February 1 for fall term to receive priority consideration. <a href="/goto?url=http://www.fafsa.ed.gov" target="_blank">www.fafsa.ed.gov </a></p><p>Admission applications for U of O are available at admissions.uoregon.edu. <br>Fall term admission application deadline for transfer students is March 15; priority deadline is February 15. <br>Students applying for Financial Aid/scholarships should make application for admission in February.
