Unlike in the past, she will no longer bring fishermen to the fishing banks of Newfoundland and Greenland. Instead, these days she brings a new touristic offer, which stands out by its innovation and exclusiveness. Because she is almost 70 meters long, the Santa Maria Manuela can accommodate, with all modern comforts, up to 50 trainees. The Ship has no operating area restrictions which means that she can sail all the seas and oceans. Young or old, you can join this grand bank schooner this season! HISTORY SHIP SPECIFICATION The Sea Training Ship Santa Maria Manuela is a Shipping type: Grand Bank historical vessel that was launched in 1937 in the river Schooner Tagus (Lisbon) and took part in the famous cod fishing Homeport: Aveiro (PT) campaigns until the beginning of the 1990’s.
