So meek and mild, and mild and meek Does thou face and features seem. Little boy, sporting on the green Pray a prayer, then sing for me. Over the dales, and over the streams So that I may smile and smile for thee. Little boy, who rests on the green, When you sing, is it just for me? Is your prayer pure and clean? If so… Go on. Play on, On my bed of gifted green.
