In just his second year in Australia’s top job, Cheika won the Rugby Championships before leading the Qantas Wallabies to a Rugby World Cup Final and ultimately named the 2015 World Rugby Coach of the Year. Prior to joining the Qantas Wallabies, Cheika was Head Coach for Australian Super Rugby side the NSW Waratahs, leading the side to its first-ever Super Rugby title in 2014 in front of the largest crowd for a Super Rugby final in the competition’s history.
