In order to allow our readers to follow the progress and issues concerning the AIDS epidemic it was necessary to list those articles separately. 19871987 The Wisconsin Light began publication with a 16 page issue dated November 20, 1987. Our first issue gave the paper a baptism of fire as it were. NATIONAL NEWS Hate Crimes Bill Advances- A Hate Crimes bill that included Gays and Lesbians tit wir passed the House Judiciary Committee in Washington DC on a 21 to 13 vote.
