You may access the concert on the link below; Nichols School Virtual Winter Concert 2021 Nichols Diversity Committee Update: Hello Nichols School and Community! February is Black History Month! The Diversity Committee, along with the Student Council, has some exciting activities* planned to showcase the many contributions of African-Americans and people of the African Diaspora to the United States of America. ● “Did You Know? Now You Know!” Presentation - Fun facts about historical events and people in African American History (displayed on our monitors in Nichols’ main lobby and on our Nichols’ Website). ● ”Diversity Corner” Google Classroom (by Student Council) - A one-stop classroom to increase cultural awareness at Nichols. Students and staff can learn about or post information and/or projects relating to Black History in this Google Classroom. In the past, the Diversity Committee has celebrated Black History Month with student presentations. Last year, a banner was created by Nichols’ Art teacher, Mr. Morelli and our fabulous fourth graders, and hung in the cafeteria hallway for all students to view. *Due to the public health crisis, in-school activities are limited to individual classrooms.
