Chandrappa filed a complaint dated 07-09-2020 which was received by this Commission on 08-09-2020 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/ O/o the Mandal Parishad Development Officer, MPP, Kodangal Mandal, Vikarabad District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the complainant herein filed an application dated 14-05-2020 before the Public Information Officer requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned: Stating that he did not receive any information from the Public Information Officer, the complainant preferred this complaint before the Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him U/s. 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. Basing on the material papers available on record, the complaint is taken on file. In view of the spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, the case is heard over phone on 21-06-2021 with prior intimation to the concerned parties. The complainant Sri K. Chandrappa responded to the phone call and Sri K. Srinivas/Public Information Officer /O/o the MPDO, Kodangal Mandal, Vikarabad District, has responded to the phone call. The PublicTSIC Information Officer submitted that on 17-06-2020 they have furnished information to the complainant, but he did not file any acknowledgement before the Commission as proof of service. The complainant has submitted that he did not receive any information from the Public Information Officer. It is seen from the 6 (1) application that the complainant is not seeking any information, but put-forth a grievance to be redressed by the officials, the plea does not fall under the purview of the RTI Act 2005. w.r. to Sec. 2 (f) The Commission directs the Public Information Officer to once again furnish the information said to have furnished already to the complainant within (2) days from the date of receipt of this order through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due under intimation to this Commission.
