Kerry whose funerals took place recently. St. Patrick's Church, Drumalee, Belturbet, is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this September. In its 150 year history, it has served several generations, both past and present of the natives of Belturbet and its many surrounding townlands. To mark this occasion, a celebration will be held in St. Patrick's Church, Drumalee, on Sunday 9th September 2018 at 3.00pm. Join us in this special celebration to mark this magnificent milestone. PARISH PARTICIPATION IN CHARITABLE DONATION SCHEME – Many thanks to those who have returned their Tax Rebate forms (CHY3 Form). It’s still not late to return a form. Anyone who pays tax and has contributed more than €250 to the parish last year is eligible may participate. This applies to both PAYE and Self Employed tax payers. In fact it is possible for the parish to back claim for the last 5 years. Spare forms are available in the porch. All that is required is for you to sign the form and fill in your PPS number. We will do all the rest. Those planning to return their form are kindly asked to return it as soon as possible either by using the boxes provided in the church porches or by placing it in the collection basket. If you have mislaid your form there are extra forms in the porch. Catholic Grandparents Association Annual National Grandparents Pilgrimage September 9th, Knock Shrine at 2.30pm. 'Local link Cavan Monaghan are delighted to announce the introduction of another new daily bus service route 929, starting at Corlough Divines Cross, Ballinamore, Newtowngore, Taaffes Cross, Killeshandra, Cavan Hospital, Institute & Bus station. This service operates 6 days a week, with 8 services a day, each way Monday-Saturday. This course is provided under the Arts Lab PEACE IV Programme for Young People. Eight places for young people with a passion for DJ skills and commitment to 26 hours class time in total over 2 evenings each week now available. Cavan Monaghan Mental Health Service, in partnership with Mental Health Ireland and UCC, are pleased to offer an NFQ Level 6 Certificate in Mental Health in the Community. This part-time, one year programme will be held in Cavan Institute commencing in September 2018. This course may be of relevance to any person with an interest in Mental Health in the Community. This includes people who attend the mental health services and their family/supporters as well as staff and volunteers in community, health or social care sectors who are committed to enhancing their current knowledge and skills, to support recovery for people who experience mental health difficulties.
