Virtual Professional Learning Quick Hits Guide SpringBoard Virtual Foundations Cohorts We know how important preparation is when beginning a new program; therefore, we are offering Virtual Foundations Cohorts, which extend learning from the on-demand E-Learning Module Series for new SpringBoard educators. These virtual classes are led by our expert National Faculty. Teachers meet with their cohorts twice a week over the course of two weeks, for 90 minutes each class, or four times in a condensed one-week schedule, for 90 minutes each class. Leaders will meet with their cohorts once per week over the course of two weeks, for 90 minutes each class. Registration Instructions 1. Use your district specific registration link provided by your district SpringBoard Coordinator to access the event website and select your cohort. 2. Once you’ve selected a cohort, follow the “Register” button to start the registration process*. 3. Login using a College Board Account. All participants must register themselves individually using a valid College Board Account. a. If you do not have a College Board Account, there is an option to create a new account. Once the account is set up, the system should redirect back to the event registration page. If the page does not redirect automatically, return to the event website and click on the “Register” button again. 4. The system will guide you through the registration process. Once successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email. To modify or cancel the registration, you can log back into the registration site using the confirmation number and email address listed in the email. *The registration system works best in Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari and is not supported by Internet Explorer. SpringBoard Private Virtual Professional Learning Summer 2020 E-Learning Modules These on-demand, online modules provide teachers the skills needed to use SpringBoard to support students in achieving success with college and career readiness standards. These modules can be accessed on the SpringBoard Digital platform. Participants will take part in a flipped classroom model, completing E-Learning Modules before each virtual class to prepare for a collaborative deep-dive with colleagues. Classes are led by SpringBoard National Faculty who share their insight, expertise, and firsthand experience of the program.
