Introduction 1.1. Implementation of the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) The EDIDP is an industrial development programme, established by Regulation (EU) 2018/10921 (hereafter EDIDP Regulation), which is implemented through annual calls for proposals in 2019 and 2020. The calls are based on a two-year work programme defined in close cooperation with Member States and adopted by the Commission on 19 March 2019. The work programme contains a description of the categories and topics for which actions (development projects) will be funded through grants. 1.2. Scope and content of the document This document contains the 2019 EDIDP calls for proposals, the conditions for the calls and an annex. It includes budgetary information, the criteria which
