Dr Richard Barlow is no stranger to us; a renowned Dermatosurgeon www.dermatology.org.my from St John’s Institute, London, UK. We started off our Mid-term Meeting for the year 2019 on Friday 26th PDM.Malaysia April 2019 with ‘Ward rounds with Richard Barlow”. These ward rounds were held mainly for our dermatology trainees at Dermatology Ward, Hospital Kuala Lumpur. We had a number of interesting Academy of Medicine tumour cases with; both paediatric and adult cases. Others include Skin Health Day, World Psoriasis Day, Leprosy Awareness Day Dr. Peter Ch’ng and community outreach projects at both national and state levels. Dr. Ting Hoon Chin In support of earth-friendly environment, we had opted for electronic (paperless) announcements, programme and abstract book and this year, e-book and e-newsletter. All of them will be uploaded to NSR Subcommittee of mobile apps during conference and later to the PDM website for viewing and archiving. Dermatology In the international front, we are a member of the League of ASEAN Dermatological Societies (LADS), Dr. Suganthi Thevarajah Dr. Henry Foong Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AADV), the Asian League Of Dermatological Dr. Adawiyah Jamil Societies (ALDS) and the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS). We foster a close Dr. Dawn Ambrose working relationship and networking among the members of the societies especially LADS members. Dr. Tan Leng Leng We are also represented in the recent voting for ILDS regional directors and host country for the 25th World Congress of Dermatology at the recent 24th World Congress of Dermatology in Milan, Italy.
