I saved it under "New Age" because the primary agenda of Theosophy is to further the New World Order, i.e., the Beast system of the coming Antichrist. In the first place, you can't "pull Christianity" anywhere, all you can do is follow the Devil away from Christianity. There is NO such thing as "Christian mysticism." Christianity has NOTHING to hide. Jesus said in John 18:20... "I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing." The word "mysticism" has no place in Christianity, for there are no hidden realities which cannot be discovered by any believer who has a Bible. We read in 2nd Peter 1:20, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." Scripturally, no one can claim that they have received some knowledge from God that no one else has. We clearly read in Hebrews 1:1,2... "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son..." Jesus is the Living Word, and the Bible is the Written Word (John 1:1-3,14; Revelation 19:13). Thus, God is saying that He speaks to us today through the Word of God alone, and not through any mystical mediation or divine revelation. This means Ellen G. White, the self-proclaimed prophetess of the Seventh-Day Adventists, is a LIAR. She claims to have received special messages from God, given only to her, for these last days. Another such nut is Harold Camping, who claims Jesus is coming back on October 20th, 2011. He is a deceiver! This means when Pat Roberson claims that God had a conversation with him that he is a liar. Beware of anyone who claims to have UNIQUE knowledge from God, given only to them, because they are lying according to 2nd Peter 1:20.
