North Acton Station Feasibility Study LOCAL PLAN SUPPORTING STUDY 2017 29. North Acton Station Feasibility Study Document Title North Acton Station Feasibility Study Lead Author Steer Davies Gleave Purpose of the Study This study investigates the options for enhancing the capacity and accessibility of North Acton station and the options for improving the permeability of the site. Key outputs • A phased delivery plan which includes making the station DDA compliant, increasing the capacity of the station and providing a connection to the station from the north. Key recommendations • North Acton station is expected to be subject to significant additional demand due to the large scale development that will surround the station. • The existing station is already straining under current demand. As such reconfiguration to provide both additional capacity and step free access is key. • Providing access to the station from the north is fundamental as development comes forward.
