Featuring Steel Vengeance – the tallest, fastest and longest hybrid roller coaster in the world – opened in this year. At more than 200 feet tall, the new hybrid design combines a steel running track on a massive wooden structure that provides an extremely smooth and comfortable ride while enabling the coaster’s trains to perform maneuvers previously unheard of on a wooden roller coaster. Along with some of the best rides in the entire world like the Valravin, the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in the world, the 425 foot tall Top Thrill Dragster, the 300 foot high Millennium Force, the Gatekeeper winged roller coaster and the classic Raptor, Cedar Point is the destination for fun in the summer time. Cost is $42 and includes your ticket and transportation. You are on your own for food and drink all day long. Turn in your money along with a signed permissions slip and a medical release form (unless already on file) to Robyn Miller no later than Sunday Aug 5 to get on the list. Meet at the church on Aug 9 at 6:30am to load up in the vans and leave. We’ll be back around 12:30am.
