Description Title of Invention: MECHANICAL AMPLIFIER FOR SI¬ MULTANEOUS INCREASING OF OUTPUT TORQUE AND OUTPUT SPEED [I] Field of the Invention [2] The present invention relates generally to mechanical transmission and more specifically it relates to simultaneous increase of output torque and output speed in a gear train. A gear train is one of the oldest and most practical means of transferring mechanical power. From early water wheels to modern combustion engines, they are used in all mechanical settings. [3] A gear train incorporates both the wheel and the lever. When multiple gears are used together they can perform tasks requiring greater force than can be provided by just a single gear. A small gear being rotated by a motor may spin a large one, for example. The larger gear is capable of moving larger objects than the smaller gear is capable of, due to mechanical advantage but with less speed. [4] For rotary devices the term 'Gear ratio' is used to define the mechanical advantage. A gear ratio can increase the output torque or output speed of a mechanism, but not both. A classical example is the gears on a bicycle. One can use a low gear that allows one to pedal easily uphill, but with a lower bicycle speed. Conversely, a high gear provides a higher bicycle speed, but more torque is required to turn the pedal. [5] Description of the Prior Art [6] There are numerous gear train devices. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 2,783,657 to Kohlhagen Walter; U.S. Pat. No. 106,360 to B. Hamlin; U.S. Pat. No. 1,067,144 to Charles R. Schilling; U.S. Pat. No. 4,550,629 to Mutsumi Kawamoto; U.S. Pat. No. 2,513,217 to Thomas F.I. Tomlines; U.S. Pat. No. 3,812,739 to Yoichi Mori; U.S. Pat. No. 4,395,925 to Hermann Gaus are illustrative of such prior art. [7] Kohlhagen Walter (U.S. Pat. No. 2,783,657) discloses constant torque drive that is constant in magnitude despite intermittent power input in the drive. [8] Mutsumi Kawamoto (U.S. Pat. No. 4,550,629) discloses a continuously variable speed transmission for motor vehicles. [9] While conventional gear trains may be suitable for the particular purpose to which they address, they are not suitable for simultaneous increase of mechanical torque and speed. [10] None of the prior art discloses an invention which can provide simultaneous increase of output torque and speed. [II] The present invention maintains mechanical advantage and transfers it to the output gear as well as increases speed. [12] In these respects, the mechanical amplifier departs from the conventional concepts and devices of prior art and in so doing, provides a device primarily developed for the purpose of simultaneous increase of output torque and speed. [13] Summary of the Invention [14] The invention pertains to mechanical amplifier that simultaneously increases output speed and output torque and comprises an input gear mounted on a shaft. The shaft has a spiral tooth stretching along the shaft at a length that is more than the circumference of the input gear. The spiral tooth on the input shaft meshes with a tooth in the inner side of plurality of arched units that form a chain around a stadium-shaped unit. [15] The plurality of arched units are mounted on ball bearings onto a stadium-shaped unit that is stationary and is anchored parallel to the input shaft. The plurality of arched units engage the output gear mounted on another shaft through teeth on either side of plurality of arched units . [16] The stadium-shaped unit advantageously can be anchored either horizontally or vertically but parallel to the input shaft. [17] To the accomplishment of the above details, this invention may be embodied in the form illustrated in the accompanying drawings, attention being called to the fact, however, that the drawings are illustrative only, and that changes may be made in the specific construction illustrated and described within the scope of the appended claims. [18] Brief Description of the Drawings. [19] FIG. 1 is a top plan view of the present invention. [20] FIG.2 is an enlarged fragmentary view of one of the plurality of arched units as it appears when engaging with the shaft of the input gear. [21] FIG.3 is a magnified front and rear view of one of the plurality of arched units. [22] FIG.4 is a rib view of stadium-shaped unit. [23] FIG. 5 is a top plan view of spiral tooth on input shaf. [24] Description of the Preferred Embodiment [25] Turning now descriptively to the drawings, in which similar reference characters denote similar elements throughout the several view, FIG. 1 through 5 illustrate the mechanical amplifier for simultaneous increasing of output torque and output speed which comprises of an input gear 10 mounted on a shaft 14, a spiral tooth 12 that makes one full circle at 360 degrees along the shaft 14 at a length of preferably 1,5 or more than the circumference of the input gear 10 depending on the output speed desired. [26] Upon rotation of the input gear 10, the spiral tooth 12 on the input shaft 14 journaled to mesh with the teeth 24 in the inner side of the plurality of arched units 16 generates linear motion of the plurality of arched units 16 that are in turn mounted on ball bearings 26 to the rib of stationary stadium-shaped unit 18. The motion is transmitted to the output gear 20 mounted on output shaft 22 that meshes through teeth 34 on the side of plurality of arched units 16. [27] As shown in FIG. 3 the plurality of arched units 16 has joints 28 in order to form a chain. There are four concave points 30 on the back side of the plurality of arched units 16 for ball bearings. [28] As shown in FIG. 4 the stadium-shaped unit 18 has two parallel rows of grooves 32 for ball bearings 26 to provide stability for the plurality of arched units when in motion. [29] The length of the chain of plurality of concave units 16 should preferably be three times as long as the length of the spiral tooth 12 on the input shaft 14. The tooth 24 in the inner side of plurality of arched units 16 is repeated at every point in the inner side of the plurality of arched units that is equal to the length of the spiral tooth 12 on the input shaft 14 to provide their endless cycle of engagement. Claims The embodiment of the Invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: l.The mechanical amplifier for simultaneous increasing of output torque and output speed in a gear train, comprising: a shaft; an input gear mounted on said shaft; a spiral tooth along said shaft; a stadium-shaped unit; plurality of arched units; a spiral tooth in the inner side of said plurality of arched units; and an output gear mounted on another shaft.
