The consultation period runs from 19 October 2015 to 30 November 2015. Comments are invited primarily through the on-line consultation software On-line: http://suffolkcoastal.jdi-consult.net/localplan/ Comments can also be sent in writing to: Email: [email protected] Post: Planning Policy and Delivery Team; Suffolk Coastal District Council, Melton Hill, Woodbridge. Copies of the consultation documents are available for inspection via the Council’s website (add link) or at the Council Offices (address as above) and in local libraries across the district during normal working hours. The full list of consultation documents is as follows: Felixstowe Peninsula Area Action Plan – Preferred Options October 2015, Interim Sustainability Appraisal Report, Habitats Regulations Report, The analysis of response to the Issues and Options Consultation is also published for information only. The document provides feedback on how the earlier consultation comments have been addressed in the Preferred Options document. Making Comments When commenting, please ensure you include your name and contact details so that you can be kept informed as the plan progresses through its various stages to adoption. For all methods, other than using the on-line system, please ensure that you clearly identify the paragraph or policy to which your comment relates. Whilst it is entitled Preferred Options there is still scope for change and refinement. In setting out the Preferred Options, the consultation document also provides a summary of alternative options currently considered and ruled out. Comments are invited on these alternative options set out as well as other options not previously considered. Similarly views and comments are invited on the Felixstowe Peninsula Area Action Plan Preferred Options Document P a g e | 5 Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations Screening documents which are a fundamental part of the plan making process and support the preferred options document. Stages in the Plan Making Process – Where we are now The Preferred Options is the second stage in the plan making process towards final adoption which is anticipated to be in 2016. For information a timeline is shown in the chart below. On completion of its statutory progress through to adoption this AAP along with the Core Strategy will comprise the Development Plan for the Felixstowe Peninsula.
