Bengal continued their first innings on overnight score of 354 runs for loss of 6 wickets having Anustup Majumdar and Arnab Nandi not out on 58 and 28. Bengal scored 381 runs all out in 161 overs. Anustup Majumdar scored 63 runs in 151 balls. Arnab Nandi scored 40 and remained not out. Jaydev Unadkat took wicket of Anustup Majumdar. Akash Deep was run out by Jaydev Unadkat. Mukesh Kumar was caught by Visvarajsinh Jadeja in bowling of Dharmendra Jadeja. Ishan Porel was lbw by Jaydev Unadkat. Dharmedrasinh Jadeja took 3 wickets in the innings. Jaydev Unadkat took 2 wickets in the innings. Prerak Mankad claimed two, Chetan Sakariya and Chirag Jani captured 1 each. Saurashtra in their second innings scored 105 runs for loss of 4 wickets. Avi Barot scored 39. Harvik Desai made 21. Vishvarajsinh Jadeja scored 17. Sheldon Jackson remained not out on 12. Match was drawn. Saurashtra took first innings lead and became Champions of Ranji Trophy 2019-20. Arpit Vasavada was declared Man of the Match for scoring 106 runs in first innings. This is for the first time Saurashtra has become Champions of most prestigious Ranji Trophy. They were runners up of Ranji Trophy in seasons 2012-13, 2015-16 & 2018-19. Presentation ceremony was held in presence of Mr. Niranjan Shah, former Hon. Secretary of BCCI, Mr. Avishek Dalmiya, President of Cricket Association of Bengal, Mr. Jaydev Shah, President of Saurashtra Cricket Association, Mr. Himanshu Shah, Hon. Secretary of Saurashtra Cricket Association and Mr. Debbrata Das, Hon. Joint Secretary of Cricket Association of Bengal. Ranji Trophy was awarded to Saurashtra’s team Captain Jaydev Unadkat by Mr. Niranjan Shah former Honorary Secretary of BCCI, accompanied by Mr Avishek Dalmiya, President of Cricket Association of Bengal. Runners Up trophy awarded to Bengal’s team Captain A R Easwaran by Mr. Jaydev Shah, President of Saurashtra Cricket Association. Medals to fifteen players of winning team were awarded by Mr. Himanshu Shah, Hon. Secretary of Saurashtra Cricket Association, Mr. Jaydev Shah, President of Saurashtra Cricket Association and Mr. Avishek Dalmiya, Presidnet of Cricket Association of Bengal. .
