Dave is actively involved in Men's Club and coaching MOQ teams. Angie has been an integral part of MOQ as well by being involved in the Ladies Guild, coaching MOQ teams and volunteering time for the Girl Scouts. Both Dave and Angie have chaired the Fall Festival since 2016 and they've headed up the very popular Parish to Parish run since its inception. Bev and Archie Carpenter have been at Mary Our Queen for over 30 years and the love they have for MOQ and its parishioners is undeniable. Both Bev and Archie are continuously growing their faith and helping others do the same. Bev and Archie are involved in programs such as hospital ministry, EMHC and many other prayer groups and organizations. We’d like to congratulate Angie, Dave, Bev and Archie for all that they do for Mary Our Queen. They truly embody the Spirit of MOQ! World Day for Consecrated Life In 1997, Pope John Paul II instituted a day of prayer for women and men in consecrated life attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on Feb. 2. This feast is also known as Candlemas Day, the day on which candles symbolizing Christ, who is the Light of the World, are blessed. So, too, those in consecrated life are called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ to all peoples. Prayer for Consecrated Persons God Our Father, we thank you for calling men and women to serve in your Son’s Kingdom as sisters, brothers, religious priests, consecrated virgins, and hermits, as well as members of Secular Institutes. Renew their knowledge and love of you, and send your Holy Spirit to help them respond generously and courageously to your will. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, on God, for ever and ever. Amen.
