DeKay introduced Michael “Micky” Blythe today as the next head coach of the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs. DeKay noted, “Both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Medaille College have a long history of success. Au is a (2007) graduate of Medaille College, where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. He played men’s soccer for Medaille all (4) years, and was a part of (3) AMCC champion- SCHOOL PROFILE ship teams. He qualified for the NCAA tournament twice in his career, once in (2005), and again in (2006) when Medaille hosted it’s only NCAA tournament game. COACHING STAFF Since graduating, Au has risen up the coaching ranks in Western New York. He was an Assistant Coach for the Kenmore East Varsity team in (2008), and was the Head Coach for girls varsity team at Immaculata Academy from (2011) until (2014). During his stint as Head Coach, Immaculata won the Monsignor Martin South Division in both (2013) and (2014). COACHING STAFF Au has also coached in many different capacities for the Empire Academy Revolution, which is a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. In (2006) and (2007), Au was an assistant coach for the U15 Boys Premier squad. In (2008) and (2009) he moved up to become the head coach for the U16 boys; then in (2011) made the switch to become head coach for the U13 girls team.
