According to XperiaBlog, “Sony had already released the Android 4.3 firmware update for the LTE version of the Xperia Tablet Z (SGP321), but owners of the Wi-Fi only Xperia Tablet Z (SGP311 and SGP312) were left waiting. We can now report that the update is now live for the Wi-Fi tablets, which updates the Xperia Tablet Z (SGP311/SGP312) to Android 4.3 with build number 10.4.B.0.577.” So what changes should you expect after updating? According to the site, “The update brings a number of changes including a new home launcher (similar to the Xperia Z1), the Sony Smart Social camera, ‘Xperia Theme’ support, the ability to launch multiple Small Apps, Restricted Profiles for multi-users and a new version of battery STAMINA mode. However, we’re sad to see that the app shortcut on the top left of the screen has been removed – this was something we found very convenient for the most used apps.
