Jesuit Clubs and Activities 2018-2019 Jesuit clubs are 100% student run through an annual process of proposals and renewals. Celebrating Abilities Club Student Leaders: Madelyn Schur, Emma Hart Moderator: Ms. Casey Meeting Place: Room 51 Time: Mondyas @ 2:45 p.m. The mission of celebrating abilities club is to create and maintain bonds with people with disabilities that attend camps for people with disabilities that Jesuit students volunteer with, especially Mount Hood Kiwanis Camp. Coffee House Moderator: Mr. Reis Meeting Place: Please listen for announcements regarding Coffee House locations and time (which are on Jesuit’s campus) Coffee House provides four opportunities a year for the community to gather and support students who want to share their talents in a fun, safe (and parent-free) environment. Computer Science (CS) Club Student Leaders: Mithra Karamchedu Moderator: Mr. Cowal, Dr. Gorman Meeting Place: Room 43 (Mon) and 63 (Fri) Time: Every Monday and Friday @ 2:45 We want to create a learning environment where those interested in computer science or in need of help can discuss problems, learn about theory and hardware, and have fun. Since Jesuit has no dance team, Dance Club takes on a similar approach, with less commitment. This includes the opportunity to practice mixing, scratching, and looping music.
