We are delighted to welcome you to EANS2019, the 19th European Congress of Neurosurgery, taking place in Dublin from 24 to 28 September 2019. The theme of the Congress is "Technology, Techniques, Training and Transparency" and we were working hard to ensure that the programme strongly reflects this. DUBLIN The grants were awarded on a competitive basis according to the following criteria: Age • Candidates must be neurosurgeons 40 years of age or under at the time of EANS2019 (whether qualified or in training): born on September 24, 1979 or later. Country • Candidates have to live in countries which are categorised as World Bank Low Income or Lower Middle Income as of December 2018. Abstract • Candidates have to submit an abstract for the EANS2019 congress, and the abstract needs to be accepted (notification of acceptance was sent after submission).
