About IQAC Coordinator Nowgong College (Autonomous) Dr. Bhuban Ch. Chutia: A post graduate in Zoology with Specialization in Endocrinology & Reproductive Physiology, he completed his Ph. D. on Biodiversity, Ecology and Conservation Strategies of Wild Silk Moths in Nagaland. He has more than 16 years of research experience in the field of Non- Mulberry or Wild or Vanya sericulture and two years of research experience in the field of Biological Control of Tea Pests in various premier institutes such as Nagaland University, CMER&TI, CSB, Lahdoigarh, Jorhat, Assam, TRA, Tocklai, Jorhat of North Eastern Region of India. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Zoology, Nowgong College (Autonomous) and pursuing independent research on the basis of past experiences. He successfully completed three research projects sponsored by DST, SSTP, Govt. of India, New Delhi, ASTEC, DST, Govt. of Assam and IASST, Guwahati respectively. He has two ongoing research projects funded by DST, SEED, Govt. of India and DBT, NECBH Twinning, IIT-Guwahati respectively. He attended 35 Conference/Seminar/Workshop of National and International level and delivered lectures in 05 seminars as invited Resource Person. He is a member of 12 Professional/Academic/Scientific Associations/Bodies. He published 26 research papers and 10 scientific articles in peer reviewed and indexed National and International Journals.
