It begins with an introduction to the IoT platforms and their main architectural characteristics, as well as an overview of the European IoT market. In the second part of the deliverable, a review of the state-of-the-art IoT platforms currently available is presented, categorized base on the IoT architecture layers. In the third part of the deliverable, the five IoT platforms used in ACTIVAGE are described in detail. The final part contains a list of the reusable assets of the ACTIVAGE IoT platforms. 3.1 Report on IoT Platforms I 2017-03-31 I ACTIVAGE CONFIDENTIAL 2 0.5 Scope To deliver the overall picture of the IoT platform market, present the current state-of-the- art in IoT platforms and select the leading ones to be used in the ACTIVAGE project, with the goal to build a secure and flexible interoperability layer. 3.1 Report on IoT Platforms I 2017-03-31 I ACTIVAGE CONFIDENTIAL 3 Table of contents TABLE OF CONTENTS
