Number of FAB projects: 5 - FAB enlargement; - Free Route Airspace; - Inter-FAB Coordination; - Technical Rationalisation and Infrastructure; - Transition to the new SES developments. Summary of 2020 developments: - the traffic complexity assessment tool (tCAT) at Sofia ACC became operational in October 2020; - the installation of the WAM and ADS-B infrastructure was delayed due to COVID-19, to be finalised in 2021; - the NewPENS is operational with some services as tCAT and AMHS already using it; - the 8,33 kHz Air-Ground Voice Channel Spacing below FL195 (ITY-AGVCS) was completed; - the Surveillance Performance and Interoperability (ITY-SPI) objective was completed; - the objective RNAV 1 in TMA Operations (NAV03.1) was completed well before the deadline (2024). LSSIP Year 2020 Bulgaria 2 Released Issue Progress per SESAR Phase The figure below shows the progress made so far in the implementation of the SESAR baseline (Pre-SESAR and SESAR1 non- PCP) and the PCP elements. It shows the average implementation progress for all objectives grouped by SESAR Phases, excluding those for which the State is outside the applicability area as defined on a yearly basis in the European ATM Master Plan (Level 3) 2020, i.e. disregarding the declared “NOT APPLICABLE” LSSIP progress status. The SESAR 1 (non-PCP) progress in the graphics below for this State is based on the following objectives: AOP17, ATC02.9, NAV12 and COM11.2.
