Course curriculum of MBA, MBA IB and MBA AB programmes got revised from academic session 2010-11. • Further Course structure revision initiated. A National Workshop was organized to develop Model Curriculum for Management Studies at Faculty. Efforts are on to revise the entire course structure in line with the outcome of the workshop from next academic session. • Establishment of Business Clinic in the Faculty with two fold objectives, i.e., to serve the local entrepreneurs to resolve their problems and to involve the students in the whole process of problem resolution so as to provide them hands-on experience. It is a unique innovation in teaching pedagogy in any management institutes of the country. • To promote community services and active involvement of management students in social reforms and transformations, carried out several activities under SEVAARTH, Social Club of management students. The Social Club took initiation in celebrating Joy of Giving Week during September 26 to October 02, 2010 by organizing two events, Blood Donation (on 30th September 2010) and Vastrasamman (on 2nd of October 2010). The blood units collected on the occasion was donated to Blood Bank, SS Hospital. The clothes collected during Vastrasamman was send to Goonj. A Delhi based NGO for distribution among the needy people. • Establishment of Video Conferencing facility at FMS, BHU. • Renovation of the Physical infrastructure, initiative for converting the class rooms to Smart Classrooms. • Management Hostel is the single Hostel in the University having a modern gym facility. As Dean of the Faculty, initiated all efforts for quick and proper installation of Bowflex Gym donated by Dr. Atul Parvatiyar, a distinguished alumnus of the Faculty in the Management Hostel. • As Head & Dean, coordinated activities for automation of University Administrative System. Achievements during the Tenure: • Has successfully worked with three consecutive Vice Chancellors of Banaras Hindu University and received appreciation and applause for exemplary performance. • During the entire tenure, not a single working day was lost due to any kind of agitation. • Successfully coordinated the security arrangements during the visits of the President of India, the Vice President of India and the Prime Minister of India and all these visits ended with not a single trace of any trouble from any corner. 3. Chairman, Rajeev Gandhi South Campus, Banaras Hindu University. Responsibilities: • To closely monitor the academic as well as developmental activities of the South Campus which spreads over an area of 2000 acres of land and located on a distance of 80 KM from the main campus of Banaras Hindu University.
