In the year between 1966 -1970, there were around 200 travel agents with or without travel agent licence and around 35 IATA agents. Our company started from 8-12 staffs in charged for Ticketing, Inbound Tour and Administration. In the year 1971, the first Branch Office was established in Bali and later in Yogyakarta, Medan and Hongkong. Between the year of 1985 – 1995, with our 150 competent staffs handled about 18.000 paxs annually for incoming tourists from European country such as German, Italy, France, America and other Asian countries. Besides the incoming tourists, our company also actively attending in ticketing esp. International Ticketing and to be nominated as Top 10 Agents by many carriers such as Lufthansa, KLM, Singapore Airline, Cathay Pacific and Garuda. Importantly to be mentioned, our company has good working relationship with the hoteliers in Indonesia, especially in Bali and in the region countries such as in Singapore, Hongkong etc. When the airlines started computerization in the mid 1990, our company has also worked on the computerization in 1998. Looking back half a century (50 years) ago, ticketing staffs had to call up the airlines to do reservation and issuance of tickets by hand writing on each individual printed airline ticket. Now with the advanced technology by using a reputable GDS system; the reservation and issuance of tickets are fully computerized.
