During the academic year, apart from summer holidays, there are Christmas holidays (about 2 weeks) and Easter holidays (one week). Other one-day holidays are: 1 November (All Saints), 11 November (Independence Day), 6 January (Epiphany), 1 May (Labour Day), 3 May (National 3rd of May Holiday), 9 Thursday after Easter (Corpus Christi), 15 August (The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary).
