Looking back over the year gives us the opportunity to recognize the progress that has been made and to make renewed efforts to ensure that IESE alumni, scattered across 116 countries, can continue to learn and make the most of all the advantages of staying in touch. IESE offers us a wide range of activities. Among this year’s highlights is the Entrepreneurship platform, established to give alumni better access to all of IESE’s entrepreneurial content and tools. We should also mention the revamped Alumni website, which provides access to highly relevant content and learning materials, in addition to the Association’s services. Launching new projects and consolidating existing ones would not be possible without the support of each and every one of the alumni who make up this great community. Through its executives, IESE strives to make a positive impact on business and society. This year, the school aims to make an even greater mark as the number of alumni grows and the commitment of its graduates deepens. The school advances thanks to generations of alumni whose generous support helps maintain investment in faculty development and research, and enables top-level students to join the IESE community. I can’t fi nish without expressing our sincere gratitude to Mireia Rius, former director of the IESE Alumni Association, and to her team for their energy and commitment. At the same time, we welcome Javier Muñoz, who I’m sure will continue to promote the Association’s goals with the same enthusiasm. Yours sincerely, Jorge Sendagorta (PADE ‘90) President of the IESE Alumni Association IESE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION An Ongoing Experience The IESE Alumni Association was founded in 1959 by the Special Initiatives in the 2013-2014 Academic Year: fi rst graduating class, which aimed to create a platform that would allow alumni to: • Joint alumni reunions: Five-yearly MBA Reunion (MBA, EMBA and GEMBA); PDD Reunion and PDG and PADE • Keep up to date with new ideas and share business Reunion.
