Study Abroad Program: Destination Hubli, India December 26, 2016 to January 14, 2017 Learn Entrepreneurship in multi-culture, multi-disciplinary environment !!!Totally awesome experience! It is a federal republic, and is divided into many states. The twin cities of Hubli-Dharwad are located in the southern state of Karnataka. The state is divided up into numerous administrative districts, of which Dharwad is one. The administrative center of Dharwad District is the twin city, Hubli- Dharwad, located 430 km north west of Bangalore. Taj Mahal, Agra, India 2015 Study Abroad UML Class In and Around Hubli Chandramouleshwara Temple is an exquisite 900 year old temple, It is no less a marvel when compared any popular tourist destination like the famous Chennakeshava Temple of Belur. The monument of national importance, declared as protected monument so under the Ancient Monuments and Archeological Sites Unakal Lake is a pictorial water spot, from where tourists can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset. It is also an ideal picnic spot, admired with lush green garden offering a number of recreational facilities along with boating facilities. Siddharoodha Math, Hubli While exploring Hubli city, a visit to Siddharoodha Math is recommended to all tourists. This site had been visited by some popular historical figures, namely Lokamanya Gangadhar Tilak in 1929 and Mahatma Gandhi in 1924. Tapovan is popular for its cultural and spiritual activities. A great visionary named Sri Kumar Swamiji established it. Kumara Swami was a great orator and people from nook and corner of the country, gathered here to listen to his lectures. After his death, his disciples have maintained the tradition. Earlier, this “math” was known by the name of “Navakalyana” matha. Later, it shifted to the name Tapovana.
