Prior to her commission for this report, she wrote two non- commissioned reports as support work for researchers working on the Rohe Pōtae district inquiry. She has a PhD in history from the University of Auckland and has had several articles published in academic journals in New Zealand and overseas, the most recent being ‘Simple Nullity or Birth of Law and Order?
