The Mira Mesa High Association for inviting me to their Opening Day th School Sapphire Sound Band was one of twenty ceremonies on February 27 where I had the marching bands selected for the 2016 Tournament honor of throwing out the first pitch! of Roses Parade, holding the distinct privilege of www.pqsoftball.org being only the second marching unit from the San Diego Unified School District to have marched in the Rose Parade.
