The whisky has been gently matured in our finest American oak barrels before each cask being hand selected and married in first fill bourbon for a period of 12 months before bottling. The signature nose has hints of vanilla oak, interwoven with the subtle notes of sea spray and spicy aromatic fruits. The result is a line of small-batch, perfectly balanced malts with intense and highly discernible character. • Glen Scotia malts have a distinct, lightly peated profile with clearly identifiable influence from sherry cask ageing along the sea coast. • Matured for 18 years in the finest American oak barrels delivering intense character and flavour associated with a Glen Scotia Single Malt. • Our 18 year old is bottled at 48.8% ABV with natural colour and is non-chill filtered for increased depth of flavour resulting in a rich smooth taste with intense character.
