A lot seem to think that the title means "we are all suffering" - which would in fact be a correct translation for "Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou" [僕らはみんな可哀相] - only written using the wrong kanji. The title is spelled [僕らはみんな河合荘] which is pronounced the same "Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou" - but here the last word "kawaisou" means not suffering but is a family name. To be more precise: "Kawaisou" is the name of the boarding house they all live in. Therefore the correct title translation is "We are Kawaisou", being a pun on the characters "suffering" - it's just some mild love-style-romance "suffering". Don't expect an awesome plot, it's mainly a romance / humor focused story. But non the less, I liked it and hope there will be a second season. Seems I should have stuck to the original plan, as this show is indeed practically drowning in ecchi/pervert-based humor and the central romance is far too painfully awkward to redeem it.
