In the chancel of Lambeth church, on an old marble grave-stone, is aa inscription, nearly obliterated, for this gentleman, his wife, and daughter; on which these verses are still visible The father, mother, daughter, in one grave, Three one, in love, in tomb, in hope to have Lye slumbering here beneath this marble stune; A joyful sight of him that's Three in One. 3 Second son of Thomas the first lord Leigh of Stoneley. He was knighted Aug. 22, 1642, and died in his father's life-time. By a second wife, Jane, daughter of Patrick Fitz-Maurice baron of Kerrey, he was father of Thomas the second lord Leigh, who died in 1710. 4 Her grand-daughter, Jane Quincie, died Jan. 1721, aged 22. See p. 252 5 In her will. dated 27 Dec. 1722 ; proved 23 July, 1727 ; she is styled of Old Ford parish, Stratford, Bow. She mentions her son Skeffington ; and makes her daughter Margaret executrix and residuary legatee. ' The familf of Charles Hud/im (probably all extinct, seep. 256) are not noticed in this pedigree ; nor Robert Hudson, of Stepney, esq. (supposed to be a younger brother of sir Benjamin, who died Jan. 16, 1734, aged 64 . and Elizabeth his wife, Juif 11. «74°J agerf 59- Their daughter Frances, wife to Georgf Dudley, efq. of Hart-street, Bloomfbury, died March 30, 1760, aged 43 '•> ar*d her husband Nov, 20, 1777, aged 75.—Michael Hudson, lieutenant colonel of the third regiment of guards, ii'iei feb 4, 1776 ; and was buried at Poplar ; as was Margaret his relict. 7 Master of s trading-ship in the service of the East India Company.
