They will not be the only ones descending upon the city where the NFL was born nearly a century ago. On hand to pay tribute to the Class of 2018 – BOBBY BEATHARD, ROBERT BRAZILE, BRIAN DAWKINS, JERRY KRAMER, RAY LEWIS, RANDY MOSS, TERRELL OWENS and BRIAN URLACHER – will be a record number of Hall of Famers gathering in one place at one time. Nearly 140 Hall of Famers will be represented throughout the spectacular celebration that centers around the Enshrinement Ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 4. The list of Gold Jackets (a term used for living Hall of Famers) who will participate in festivities includes the likes of DICK BUTKUS, PAUL WARFIELD, EMMITT SMITH, JOE GREENE, DERRICK BROOKS, CRIS CARTER, SONNY JURGENSEN, BRUCE SMITH, SHANNON SHARPE, JEROME BETTIS, JERRY JONES, DAN FOUTS, CLAUDE HUMPHREY, PAUL HORNUNG, TERRELL DAVIS, ART MONK, BOB LILLY, DAN MARINO and JONATHAN OGDEN. In addition, family members of deceased Hall of Famers such as BUCK BUCHANAN, DEACON JONES and BRONKO NAGURSKI, will travel to Canton to take part in the world-class celebration. “It is extraordinary that our Hall of Famers return in such great numbers to help celebrate this great game in the place where it began.
