’18 B1 2 Design by Taylor Schwartz ’16 Welcome to Brown! Congratulations on your acceptance to Brown! We could not be more excited to have you here for A Day On College Hill (ADOCH), which we have been planning for you since September. Over the next couple of days, we hope to give you an idea of what it is like to be a student at Brown and a sense of why we are consistently ranked among the happiest schools in the nation! You will have the opportunity to attend classes, talk to current Brown students about their experiences, take part in panel discussions, be entertained by Brown’s talented student groups and of course, get to know many of your future classmates. Whether you have already decided that Brown is the perfect fit, or are still exploring your options, we are delighted to show you what makes this University so special and why we think you belong here. This event is primarily designed for you as an admitted student, but it is also an opportunity for your parents and families to experience Brown. In the parent brochure they can find a number of programs specifically planned to introduce them to Brown and Providence. We encourage you to take full advantage of this opportunity to explore all that Brown has to offer. Immerse yourself in this sneak peek of our campus—without homework or exams, of course—as a member of the Brown community. We are thrilled to welcome you to Brown and look forward to seeing you throughout ADOCH—and this fall! – Liam Dean-Johnson ’16 and Naomi Varnis ’16 A Day On College Hill Coordinators 1 2014 PLANNING COMMITTEE COORDINATORS LATE NIGHT Liam Dean-Johnson ’16 Yvette Rodriguez ’15 Naomi Varnis ’16 Dylan Moses ’16 Aaron Rosenthal ’16 ACADEMIC & CO-CURRICULAR Marion Wellington ’16 Daniel Hoadley ’15 Holly Gildea ’16 STEM Rachel Leiken ’16 Nicholas Lourie ’14 Matt Ostrow ’16 Katie Hsia ’17 Andrew Linder ’17 Alex Karim ’17 DIVERSITY PERSPECTIVES VIDEO & MEDIA Corbyn Nchako ’14 Lily Sykes ’15 Jennifer Tsai ’14 Taylor Schwartz ’16 Edward Cleofe ’15 Maggie Meshnick ’17 Manuel Contreras ’16 Chris Tran ’17 Maya Finoh ’17 Stanley Muñoz ’17 VOLUNTEERS Marie-Claire Partridge ’15 HOSTS & HOUSING Jason Ginsberg ’16 E-Soo Kim ’15 Alissa Rhee ’16 Marlees West ’15 Madison Shiver ’17 Vannida Lorn ’16 Ben Silver ’17 Jonathan West ’16 Vaki Nikitopoulos ’17 WELCOME Amanda Kelly ’15 Ezra Nelson ’15 Anselmo Fuentes ’16 Emily Siegel ’16 Kate Chamberlain ’17 2 TABLE OF CONTENTS 4 Administrative Office Hours Campus Tours 5 Parking Important Phone Numbers 6 Tuesday, April 22 12 Wednesday, April 23 18 Thursday, April 24 20 Class Schedule 25 Campus Map Indication of events open (P) to parents and families as well as students.
