We visit Splash in Sheringham every week and use the exercise

equipment or take part in a class.

Cooking

We eat lunch in the Sixth Form Common Room and sometimes prepare and cook our own hot or cold food .We have made things such as lasagne and roast dinner, with cheese cake or crumble for dessert. Some of us prefer to bring a packed lunch instead. There are

quiet areas to eat if we prefer this.

Independent Living Skills

Trips

We have the

chance to visit places such as

Norwich, National Trust properties, Local vets & other places.

Farm/Animal care -

We get the chance to visit a local care farm and look after the goats, pigs, sheep and chickens. We learn to cook outdoors and carry out maintenance on the farm.

This is where we walk when we go from the

playground up to sixth form.

Creating an outdoor area for the

school

Edford’s Farm

We travel on the sixth form mini bus to get to Edford’s Farm near Roughton. These are some of the animals we look aſter there. We also get involved with outdoor cooking, gardening and maintenance work on the farm such as mending fences. We get a choice of jobs we can work on.

This is Louise and Chris who own the farm. They show us what jobs there are to be done on the farm and help us with any of the tasks .

Sixth Form Activities

During lunchtime we eat hot food and sandwiches in the common room. There are also facilities to make toast and use the kettle to prepare food and lunch if we prefer.

After eating we can choose what we wish

to do for the rest of our lunch break, some

students like to go outside and spend time in our outdoor learning area, whilst others prefer to play games, read books and magazines, chat to other students or use the computers.
