Never leave equipment until it is at full stop. Guards in place as required. Keep hands clear of Energized cutter heads and moving parts. Use Push Blocks – Feather Boards. Firmly hold stock flat against Equipment Tables. Be aware of Kick-Back Zones. Nip-Points. Use equipment for intended purpose only. Avoid Distractions. Concentrate. Retain Control. RED BAR: Initial cut (Thickest Part -Test center and ends) Bed Elevation Wheel and Bed Wheel lock 2. Minimum length 12” – Minimum width 1 1/2” – Minimum thickness ½” (Minimum ¼” thickness with backer board) 3. Power ON/OFF Procedure 4. Feeding stock Kickback Zone Surface planned side down Thin/Tapered end first Hands on top of stock - flat against table Feed with grain – Never cross grain Remove hands when In-feed operation has activated DO NOT feed multiple pieces at same time Thinner Board will cause kickback NEVER Place hands between stock and table NEVER: Use/insert a push stick 5. Stock jam: Turn power off, lower bed, remove stock, and start over 6. Maximum Removal per pass: KUFO: 1/16” -Maximum adjust is 1 full wheel revolution LAGUNA: 1/64” -Maximum adjust is ¼ wheel revolution 7. Table Supports for long stock 8.
