(^) Denotes Homecoming Scouting #9 Ottawa University (7-2, 6-1): The Braves picked up their second straight victory with a 55-27 win over Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. The OU offense put up 619 yards which is seventh all-time in the OU record book. The meeting with Friends will be the fifth time this season that OU has played a nationally ranked team. The Braves are 2-2 in those games. A Numbers Game Erik Brown broke the school record for longest punt return in a game with a return of 92 yards and for the second time this season OU had two Braves with 100 yards rushing in a single game. Michael Behr rushed for a career high 178 yards and Luke Lundy rushed for 131 yards against Kansas Wesleyan University. The OU offense is ranked third in the NAIA in passing efficiency (168.9), fourth in total points scored (406), fifth in scoring per game (45.1), fifth in total rushing yards (2,290), seventh in rushing per game (254.4), 11th in fourth down conversion percentage (64.7%), 11th in total offensive yards per game (458.3), 18th in first downs per game (22.4), 28th in third down conversion percentage (39.6%), 30th in total passing yards (1,835), and 34th in passing yards per game (203.9). The Brave defense is ranked sixth in the NAIA in defensive passing efficiency (98.4), 17th in opponent fourth down conversion percentage This contest is the 60th60 all-time meeting between the two teams. Friends raced out to a 21-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in a 47-10 win at Bethel Saturday that kept the Falcons alive in the KCAC championship hunt. The Falcons took the opening kickoff right down the field, scoring on a nine play drive when Thomas Hankerson (Boynton Beach, FL) took the handoff in for a 14 yard touchdown just over three minutes into the game. Two penalties and a sack by Mason Pauly (Conway Springs, KS) forced what looked to be a Bethel punt, but the Threshers would attempt a fake on 4th and 12, trying to take momentum away from Friends. The Falcon special teams didn’t buy it, and the pass fell incomplete. The last loss came against Sterling on Nov. 10, 2007. 2013 Non-Conference Opponents Miler: Ottawa University junior running back Luke Lundy is just one of 22 players from the state of Nebraska that has rushed for Team 2013 Record Opponent over 5,000 yards in his high school career.
