Notes for CATHARINE GALLOWAY: Catherine parents were determined by first taking her birth date from the Longforgan Cemetery lists and searching the IGI. From the IGI a Catharine birth record was found for James Galloway and Catherine Peebles. This along with the fact that a granddaughter was named Catherine Elllen Peebles Whitelaw led to the conclusion that this was Catherine's birth record. In 1841 Catherine lived at Town Of Longforgan , Longforgan, Perthshire with her daughter Ann. They was Loom Yarn Winders. Notes for JAMES GALLOWAY: James was a Tailor.
