Congratulations to Austin Ferguson, son of Michael Ferguson, East Texas Police Academy’s deputy director. Austin is the student director of The University of Texas’ Guild of Carilloners. The famous UT carillon (the bells located in the top of the famous UT bell tower) has gone through a major renovation, and Austin is one of only two people who are currently allowed to play the carillon.
