Under this agreement, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are part of the European internal market. The agreement sets out the common goal of working together to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe and strengthening cooperation between European countries. Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have allocated a total EUR 2.8 billion to 15 EU member states for this purpose for the period 2014-2021. Norway provides almost 98 % of this funding. The EEA and Norway Grants are an important European policy instrument for the Norwegian Government in its efforts to contribute to a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. OVERVIEW OF OUR SUPPORT TO SLOVAKIA Slovakia has received funding under the EEA and Norway Grants since it became a member of the EU in 2004. eeagrants.org EUR million 70.3 80.75 113.1 mfa.no/eeanorwaygrants 2004 2009 2014 2021 facebook.com/ Photos: Christophe Vander Eecken, Kosice Self-governing region eeanorwaygrants.
