It is the overarching planning policy document, which forms part of a wider set of local planning policy documents known as the Local Development Framework (LDF). The LDF will gradually replace the City Local Plan, adopted in July 2006. Appendix 6 lists the City Local Plan policies that are replaced by this plan. 1.2 The Portsmouth Plan is designed to: Set out a vision and objectives for the development
