Intel Itanium IA64 processors are not supported. An AMD processor that supports the AMD64 platform. When considering a processor, select one processing core for every two simultaneous jobs to provide adequate performance, with no less than eight cores. RAM Minimum: 8 GB of total RAM. Recommended: 16 GB of total RAM. If you install Compose and Capture on the same machine as the Pipeline Pilot and/or Foundation server, consider the RAM requirements for Foundation Hub and the Pipeline Pilot Server as listed in their respective System Requirements guides. Hard Disk Space Minimum: 10 GB disk space for Compose and Capture. If you install Compose and Capture on the same machine as the Pipeline Pilot and/or Foundation server, consider the Hard Disk Space requirements for Foundation Hub and the Pipeline Pilot Server as stated in their respective System Requirements guides. Swap Space The minimum swap space requirement for each server (Compose and Capture, Foundation, and Pipeline Pilot) is at least 1 x swap space for systems less than or equal to 8 GB, or 0.5 x RAM for large memory systems. If you install Compose and Capture on the same machine as the Pipeline Pilot and/or Foundation server, consider the Swap Space requirements for Foundation Hub and the Pipeline Pilot Server as stated in their respective System Requirements guides. Note the following recommendations: If you install Compose and Capture on a separate machine from the Foundation Hub server, you need a certificate for the Compose and Capture server machine, as per the following requirements: Obtain the certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority. BIOVIA does not support self-signed certificates. Set the "Name" and "Issued To" properties of the certificate to the Fully Qualified Domain Name of the server machine. If you install Compose and Capture on the same machine as the BIOVIA Foundation Hub server, use the certificate found on this server machine during the configuration of Compose and Capture. For a load-balanced environment, you must configure Compose and Capture with the certificate for the Load Balancer. For more information on generating certificates, refer to the BIOVIA Compose and Capture Installation Guide.
