Metasoma flattened showing distinct angles between dorsal and ventral surfaces; enormous scopal hairs arising from lateroventral surface of terga and on sterna; scopal hairs on hind femora plumose and arise on under surface of femora; large hairs on hind tibia pectinate, werect and clearly differentiated form the usually shorter, erect hairs on lower distal part of outer surface; hind tibia margin sinuous; forewing with weak third submarginal crossvein and second recurrent vein.
