Winton Woods High School will present its spring musical, Aida, on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, at 8:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Aida is a Tony and Grammy award-winning love story written by Elton John and Tim Rice that's set in ancient Egypt. The musical is about the forbidden love between a Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier, who are forced to choose between facing death and parting forever. Their decision is an example of true devotion that defies the cultural differences between their warring nations. Tickets are $7.00 and $8.00. If you are viewing the calendar, you have the ability to only view specific building events. Simply go to our district website (www.wintonwoods.org) and click “view full month” under the calendar of events. Once there, you will see in the upper left hand corner where it says “Select Individual Calendar.” Under that you can click where it says “Select Multiple Calendars.” By doing this you can select only the buildings that have activities you might be interested in. This feature will be of particular interest to parents who have students in multiple buildings. .
